Anatomy Pedagogy (AnatSIG)

The Anatomy Pedagogy Special Interest Group (AnatSIG) works within the Centre for Medical Education Research. AnatSIG is lead by Dr Gabrielle Finn.

AnatSIG consists of a team of medical educationalists, artists, clinicians, masters and medical students collaborating on pedagogic research in the anatomical sciences. Some of the group’s many special interests are assessment, art-based approaches to anatomy teaching (including body painting and wearable art) and imaging (specifically ultrasound). The group works closely with the Anatomical Society.

Anyone interested in joining the group, finding out more about our research, or collaborating should contact Dr Gabrielle Finn (g.m.finn@durham.ac.uk).
